Christmas Eve:

• Arrive at Bovey Castle where a range of festive activities await you
• Visit our Long Barn for a candlelit cider and slow gin making experience
• Take afternoon tea whilst enjoying the sounds of our live vocalist
• Dinner will commence with a drinks reception in our grand Cathedral Room, followed by a five-course dinner accompanied by our house pianist.

Christmas Day:

• Awake to a traditional breakfast before a visit from Father Christmas with gifts for our younger guests.
• Explore the estate and enjoy some fresh air and scenery on our brass rubbing or letterboxing trails, before returning in time for pre-lunch Champagne and canapes
• Your six-course Christmas Day feast awaits, accompanied by the soft tones of our harpist
• Watch the King’s speech within our lounges whilst enjoying coffee and Christmas cake
• A relaxed buffet supper will then be served at your leisure

Boxing Day:

• After breakfast, choose from a variety of activities; sign up for the golf tournament, join our guided walk to our Deer Park and North Bovey or take part in our traditional treasure hunt around the castle and grounds
• The afternoon is full of fun with ferret racing, always a firm favourite, and a ‘nearest the pin’ golf competition on the South Terrace
• Enjoy a savoury and sweet afternoon tea in our lounges, accompanied by musical entertainment
• Dinner awaits with a cocktail reception before a six-course gala dinner (dress code cocktail wear)
• Evening entertainment will see you try your hand on our live casino tables

27th December

• Enjoy a full English breakfast before bidding a fond farewell and journeying home
