Situated in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City, Mharsanta (Gaelic for Merchant) is a contemporary Scottish Restaurant & Bar offering a genuine taste of Scotland.

The restaurant is available to hire exclusively holding up to 120 for a seated dinner or up to 150 for a standing reception. The main restaurant at street level hosts 80 guests, and there is also a private dining room 'The Hideout', a charming space, ideal for private parties and events seating up to 30 guests or around 40 for a casual buffet and drinks reception event.

The private dining room has its own bespoke bar and bartender for your event as well as lighting to suit the theme of your event, your own music system and state of the art digital screens for your use.

Mharsanta has a passion for using seasonal, local produce from Scotland and is here to ensure your guests have the very best experience from the moment you walk through the door. Open year-round, as a small independent business we are very agile and can create bespoke menus to suit each client.

Our Executive Chef Dom and his team will tailor the catering of your event to your specific requirements and with our extensive wine list and array of fine cocktails, there is something to suit every taste and occasion.

Mharsanta is perfectly located in the city centre with excellent transport links, street parking, regular buses, taxi links and only a 10-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station and a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station, making it perfect for your private event.
