Christmas Break at Langdale Chase Hotel Christmas Eve Check into your guest room from 2.00pm onwards, and spend the afternoon exploring our fabulous grounds or head to Windermere for some last minute shopping. At 6.30pm we’ll be hosting welcome drinks in the Baronial Hall, around our spectacular Christmas tree, followed by dinner in the lake view restaurant with table bookings between 7.00pm and 8.30pm Christmas Day We can’t promise waking up to a White Christmas, but we can promise one of the best views in the lakes on Christmas morning. We’ll have mince pies and carrots out by the fireplace, so we’re hoping Santa will have stopped by overnight too. Enjoy a full Cumbrian breakfast to set you up for the day ahead, and then spend the morning relaxing by the real log fires as you catch up with old friends and make new ones too. At midday, we’ll raise a toast, as we enjoy Chef’s delicious canapés and a glass of Champagne, before sitting down to a traditional Christmas lunch, with all the trimmings. Table booking between 12.30pm and 2.30pm. Relax in the piano lounge, where we’ll have a selection of board games and the Queen’s speech will be broadcast; or head out around the grounds for some fresh Lake District air. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed supper where Chef will prepare a buffet featuring some of the best local produce. Boxing Day Our Langdale Chase breakfast will be served from 8.00am to 11.00am today, and then in the evening a four-course gourmet dinner showcasing some of our fabulous produce, and after dinner entertainment with live music in the Baronial Hall. Thursday 27th December Enjoy one last breakfast as you look over the stunning Lake Windermere, and then we’ll bid fond farewells.
