A longstanding fixture on London’s party scene, nightspot Sway is within a few minutes’ walk of both Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations. This historic building has maintained its sense of grandeur, decked with art deco mirrors, ornate plaster work and a glittering crystal chandelier. A clutch of differing rooms is spread across two floors: the Milk and Cream bars suit smaller number events whilst if it's a sit down lunch or dinner you are after the grand design of the restaurant seats up to 200 capacity. ‘Groovy’ packages available (from £70pp) in the 70s and 80s Groovy Wonderland gives an option to boost capacity into the hundreds, while its ‘Masquerade’ package in the Crystal club, also from £70pp, will include burlesque dancers and a snake charmer. For nine days during December a ‘Daytime Disco’ package will run as part of the venue’s Christmas offerings (4-6, 11-12, 13, 18-20), along with a list of lunch, dinner and buffet options available in varying prices and packages.
