Celebrate Christmas 2026 at The Woodlands at Hothorpe

Experience a winter wonderland like no other at The Woodlands at Hothorpe, where the forest comes alive with festive magic. If you’re tired of the standard hotel ballroom, our secluded estate offers a cozy, "hygge" inspired setting perfect for an unforgettable Christmas celebration that feels both exclusive and enchanting.

For large-scale festive bashes, Sapwood transforms into a stunning winter hall. With floor-to-ceiling glass walls looking out onto the frost-dusted trees, up to 150 guests can enjoy a traditional three-course feast or a lively Christmas dance under the glow of our signature timber beams. If you prefer a more rugged, atmospheric vibe, The Tipi is the ultimate spot for "apres-ski" style partying. Accommodating 80 guests, it features twinkling fairy lights and fur throws—ideal for sipping mulled wine by the fire.

For intimate team dinners or festive board meetings, Heartwood provides a sophisticated, warm retreat for 60 guests. Even in the colder months, the heated charm of The Hideaway can be utilized for a unique outdoor welcome drink reception for 120 guests, with strings of lights guiding your way through the crisp winter air.

The best part? No one needs to worry about the journey home. Your team can celebrate late into the night before retiring to our 23 luxury forest lodges and studios. From the VIP Treehouse Suite to our cozy woodland rooms, we provide a peaceful place to wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast together. At The Woodlands, we combine natural beauty with festive flair to create a Christmas party that will be talked about until next December.
