We are delighted to bring you our programme for Christmas and New Year. Though less than five minutes from the heart of Harrogate, this magnificent hotel, with its fine architecture, is the ideal setting for a truly festive celebration with family and friends. Whether you are planning a big party or prefer a small get-together, my team and I will ensure you have a celebration to remember.

The Old Swan has the capacity for events of all sizes: our ballroom can accommodate up to 350 guests, our Wedgwood Restaurant seats 200, and for more intimate dining we have a selection of rooms for you to choose from.

We have a series of Christmas Party Nights planned which you can join with friends or colleagues. Throughout December, we’re also featuring some fantastic live entertainment which will be fun for everyone, and we haven’t forgotten the kids: Santa's Sunday Lunch includes a visit from Santa. He’s going to be a busy man!

New Year promises to be every bit as fun with a glitter ball and a more informal celebration party, and, as with all our evening events throughout the season, you can forget about expensive taxis, and stay overnight with us.

All our festive events include delicious menus featuring traditional Christmas fayre, and all our parties include party novelties. It wouldn’t be Christmas without them!

And if your idea of heaven is to escape over Christmas and let someone else do the work, then Christmas at the Old Swan is the answer – we’ll do it all, including laying on carol singers and the big man himself.
