Wreath Making Workshops in Merseyside

Wreath making has quietly become one of the best festive afternoons out in Merseyside. It's an easy sell: a couple of hours away from your inbox, a table piled with fresh spruce, eucalyptus, pine cones, dried orange slices and cinnamon, a florist showing you what to do with a reel of wire, and usually a mulled wine in your other hand.

You don't need to be any good at it, that's rather the point. Workshops are run on the assumption you've never made anything in your life, and everyone goes home with a wreath they're quietly pleased with. Everything's provided: the ring, the foliage, the decorations, the ribbon. You turn up, sit down and get stuck in. Most sessions include a festive drink and something to eat along the way.

They make a genuinely good team social, too. People actually talk to each other, which is more than you can say for most Christmas dos, and you all leave with something to show for it.
