Steeped in history, The Elvetham was once home to the Seymour family who entertained Queen Elizabeth I for 4 days of magnificent entertainment in 1591. In the Queen’s company was William Shakespeare who was commissioned to write poetry known as the `Elvetham Entertainments’ and it is believed 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ had its first ever performance there.

All parties feature a festive dinner with mince pies and coffee, crackers and rocket balloons, a portrait photographer, party DJ and full event management - as well as a Michael Bublé tribute act (back for 2016 by popular demand!) and more...

If you want to fall straight into bed after the party, book into one of our comfortable 72 bedrooms and refuel with an English or continental breakfast the morning after.

Private Party packages:
Package 1: £65pp - includes a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and a glass of wine with dinner.
 
Package 2: £95pp - includes a champagne drinks reception, casino table, unlimited house wine, bottled beer and soft drinks until 10pm.
